About Us

Christopher's Light was founded by Karen McKendree in the spring of 2018.

Christopher’s Light is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in both Apollo, PA and Saltsburg, PA. Our mission is to help the children in our area by providing free clothing, school supplies and educational support. All donations received are used strictly for our local children across Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Indiana counties. 

We have been so fortunate to be able to provide clothing, backpacks, and more to children with the efforts of our volunteers and the support of our local communities.
